Elysian Fields Breeding Program

In May 2014, Elysian Fields starting breeding its first homebreds. We currently use both the prefix Elysians and the suffix EF on our foals. While we don’t have a large offering of studs and broodmares, we will continue to offer foals for special occasions and will happily breed a custom homebred. Send Grace a message at SAI if you’re interested in acquiring one our foals. Unless otherwise stated at the time of sale, all our horses fall under the following contract.

Contract

• Buybacks/Right of Refusal: If you wish to sell the horse for any reason, please contact me first. If I do not wish to repurchase the horse, I will then give you permission to sell it to someone else.
• Activity: Horses must remain active. This means I need to have a live, working link to their pages at all times. They also should remain active in the show ring. Entering them into a master list of at least one association is the best way to ensure this.
• Aging: If you do not age your horses yearly, you are required to let me know. All horses must be kept at least 4 years younger than both of their parents.
• Stats cannot be changed without permission from me. This includes gelding a stallion or sterilizing a mare, both immediately after the sale and in the future. That said, don't be afraid to ask.
