Hispano-Árabe

Registry Code: ARA

The Hispano-Árabe is a breed term used to describe any horse of mixed Arabian and Andalusian (or occasionally Lusitano) bloodlines. Though the nature of the cross means that there is a wide range of body types and movements among Hispano-Árabe horses, they tend to be baroque-style horses with full, flowing mane & tails, but feature slightly more slender and refined features, tend toward a more dished face, and may exhibit the Arab high tail set. These horses are used in a wide variety of ridden and driven disciplines.
