Jutland

Also Known As: Jyske Hest, Jydsk Danish


Named after the Jutland Peninsula in the western part of Denmark, the Jutland is the country's only native draft breed. Primarily flaxen chestnut in colour much like the Belgian Draft, the Jutland dates back to the 9th century and was used by Vikings during their raids in the British Isles.
