Membership Guidelines

As a member of the ASWDC, you agree to:

• Follow all ASWDC competition rules
• Host no more than two (2) member-hosted ASWDC competitions per month
• Never transfer the ownership of a horse that isn't registered to you, even if you are attempting to transfer a horse you have purchased to yourself.

Showing Guidelines

• All horses must be at least four (4) years of age to compete in ridden classes
• All horses may enter any and all appropriate in-hand, suitability & prospect classes
• All horses are limited to no more than one (1) Level of classes per show (EX: Entering Level 1 and Level 1 Freestyle are okay; Entering Level 1, Level 1 Freestyle, and Level 2 is not.)
• Prospect classes are for horses aged 0-3 years
• Leveled classes are for horses aged 4+ years old
• Horses may be registered to show in: (only applicable classes will be offered for entry)

  • Western Dressage only
