Incredible young mare who burned up the track as a two-year-old, never placing out of the top three and earning over $1.4 million in just six starts. She has claimed two Grade One stakes wins, including winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies in early November of 2013. She also claimed the SAI Thoroughbred Flat Race Horse of the Year award in 2013 due to her fantastic season.
She has continued to perform remarkably well as a three-year-old, running a close second in the INJC Kentucky Derby and running 4th in the Preakness Stakes. She is our leading money earner out of a large class of three-year-olds, with an incredible $2 million in earnings early in her second season of racing.
It comes as no surprise that Canned Wit is such fantastic racehorse just from looking at her pedigree. She is a daughter of former Whitewood Inc stallion, HOTY Canned Win, who earned over $5.8 million on the track in his day and is a son of two of Whitewood's best Thoroughbreds. Her dam is a Serendipity homebred who was an exceptional racehorse in her own right, earning over $2.1 million on the track in her career. This young lady has a pedigree chock full of Sim and real life racing stars!
